How to join us
We meet almost every week and our events are open to everyone. We are always happy to meet new people, no matter what your background is!
The easiest way to join us at one of our events is by signing up for our newsletter.
You’ll receive an email once a week with all upcoming events, like meetups, socials, reading groups, etc.
Alternatively you can join our Whatsapp group to get weekly announcements and access our discussion chats.
About our events
We meet every wednesday at 7 pm, either for a regular meetup or for a social event. We’ll post the exact topics and location in our weekly newsletter.
On our regular meetups we will have talks, workshops and other ways to learn more and engage with the ideas of effective altruism. Our social events will mostly take place in a bar to have personal discussions – and surely a lot of fun with other members of the community.
What else we do
We are quite an active local chapter, so we organize reading groups, in-depth workshops, hackathons, a “Leonardo” university course and we’re travelling to conferences together.
As we are part of the german and also the global community, we offer to join different fellowships as well for our engaged EAs to learn more on how to make strategic decisions on their careers to do the most good, but also for newcomers to learn what EA is all about.
